Press On! To Being More Evangelistic – Part 4

V: WE SHOULD PRESS ON TO BE MORE EVANGELISTIC, TO WITNESS FOR JESUS

We believe that people get saved through simple preaching of the good news of the Gospel. We are all called to be a “good news” broadcaster!

Then He said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.'” Matthew 4:19 NKJV

“…and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles….Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.” Acts 8:1-4 NKJV

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes….” Romans 1:16 NKJV

1. We should have the vision and desire, given by the Holy Spirit, to see people get saved.

And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:31

2. We should be witnessing and telling others the Good News of the Gospel.

The reason why we’re afraid to tell others is because we are focusing too much on ourselves, a form of selfishness.

3. We should PRAY for those that you want to get saved, including our friends and family members.

Create a list of all of the people that you want to get saved and pray for them CONSISTENTLY.

Why is this so important? Because Heaven and Hell are real.
