VI. Press On! To More and Greater Faith.
Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” Matthew 15:28 NKJV
“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live in faith.” Romans 1:17 NKJV
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of the things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 NKJV
Faith is the ground upon which we stand!
How do we Press On into great faith?
1. Great faith is obedient faith. Obedience and Faith go hand-in-hand.
2. Great faith is overcoming faith.
3. Great faith is persistent faith.
4. Great faith is bold faith. Peter stepped out of the boat by faith.
5. Memorize God’s Word, especially God’s promises. There is a connection between a believer full of the Word and a believer full of faith.
6. Pray about everything. Prayer is powerful! It is a release of faith! Prayer and Faith is diligently seeking the Lord, and the Lord will reward those who diligently seek him!
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6
