WHO IS A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST?
Message: There are many distinctive marks of a true disciple of Christ
III A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST IS ONE WHO IS CONTINUALLY LOOKING AND FOCUSING ON JESUS
Looking (focusing) unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith . . .” Hebrews 12:2 NKJV
“For to me, to live (whole life) is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21 NKJV
IV A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST IS ONE WHO KEEPS RECEIVING TRUTH
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24 NKJV
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth . . .” John 16:13 NKJV
“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” John 17:17 NKJV
