Press On! To More & Deeper Worship, continued – Part 7

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4: 23-24 NKJV

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2 NKJV

4. A True Worshiper Pursues the Lord with an Ever Growing Desire

As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.” Psalm 42:1-3 NKJV

5. A True Worshiper Faithfully Serves the Lord and Gives God the Glory

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;” Romans 1:9 NKJV

6. A True Worshiper Continually Praises the Lord

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” Hebrews 13:15 NKJV

“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand…” Psalm 149:6 NKJV

There is a freedom and presence of the Lord in singing and praising.

What are the results?

1. When you are a true worshiper it’s as if it sends a sweet aroma to the Lord. It pleases the Lord.

2. You will experience the fullness of His presence.

3. The Lord will use us as an instrument in the hands of God. The presence of the Lord will spill out of your spirit and your mouth.
